This session will provide an overview of the legal requirements involved in different types of fundraising, including:

• State charitable solicitation requirements

• Raffles, contests, and games of chance

• State and local permits and regulations for events 

Participants will also gain an understanding of what constitutes unrelated business income that will not be exempt from tax.
